I’ve been a voracious reader since childhood — from books to newspapers, magazines to online publications. It’s the one thing about me that hasn’t changed in more than half a century of existence — made worse by the advent of Audible, allowing me to consume more in less time. My son, an avid (physical) book reader, argues that listening to books doesn’t count. I disagree, but neither of us is budging in that debate.
